New Construction Building Permit Requirements

permit application.

Three (3) sets of
complete building plans, reviewed and signed by local fire
department.

Class 1 survey
of site by registered RI surveyor.

Certificate of
energy conformance (REScheck form can be obtained at
www.energycodes.gov)
2009 IECC version.
-
Sewer
connection permit from Narragansett Bay Commission, and the
Town of Lincoln connection permit.
-
The site plan
must show:
-
Erosion
controls, including a gravel construction access pad
-
Proposed
and existing utilities and connections
-
Location of
any soil test pits
-
Approvals as
needed from:
-
RIDEM
wetlands approval permit or letter of non-jurisdiction
-
RI Dept. of
Transportation Physical Alteration Permit
-
Town of
Lincoln
Highway Excavation Permit
-
Seasonal high
groundwater elevation, if necessary.
